Dr Shin Yi Lim

Dr. Shin is a dedicated and compassionate general dentist who received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Otago, New Zealand. Fluent in English, Mandarin, Hokkien, and Malay, she has had the privilege of serving diverse communities in New Zealand, Singapore, and Malaysia before moving to Melbourne. Her patient-centered approach emphasizes building strong relationships, and her calm, gentle manner ensures that patients feel at ease, resulting in high retention and referral rates.

Dr. Shin has extensive experience performing a wide range of general dental treatments, with special interests in minor oral surgery, such as wisdom teeth surgeries and implants, as well as orthodontics, including braces and aligners. She is committed to continuous professional development, regularly updating her knowledge through specialized courses in orthodontics, implants, and other advanced procedures.

When Dr. Shin isn’t practicing dentistry or expanding her expertise, she cherishes quality time with her baby girl.
